Glenn D. Grace is the former podcast host of Blog Talk Radio's "A Touch of Grace," which ran for 5 years. He is also a five-time self published author. Born in Gulfport, MS, raised in East Palo Alto, Ca, his early years were a mixture of childhood joys, childhood mourning, as well as, a shocking revelation; he was gay.
His teen years consisted of numerous failed attempts to accept himself, "Just As I Am." That acceptance wouldn't come to him until later in life, after reading the book "Just As I Am," by the late NY Bestselling author, E. Lynn Harris. He also found courage to be himself after reading author, James Earl Hardy's "B-Boy Blues," novels. Those books told tales of same-gender loving men who were of African American descent.
In 2008 he fled the confines of corporate America, leaving his job of 26 years at AT&T -- a move that eventually changed his life for the better. At the time his strategy was to blow all the money he left AT&T with, and then commit suicide; however, something amazing occurred. He unlocked his inner-happiness, which led him back into the workforce and inspired him to self-publish 5 books.
Riding on that momentum, he got sober in 2013, and was finally able to be treated for an undiagnosed bipolar 2 condition.
Filled with an abundance of gratitude, he blogs, works a 9 - 5 he loves, and stays in the lane of joy. Eventually he will release new novels, but in the meantime, he continues on the road of self-discovery and continued self-acceptance, finally embracing who he is wholeheartedly.
